Hi everyone! I wanted to let everyone know that last night Beckett had a low grade fever, but nothing to worry about. Today he spent most of the day staying calm and sleeping. Late afternoon today his heart rate got really high. They are relating the high heart rate due to his low grade fever. They gave him Tylenol and his heart rate came right back down. The doctors ordered blood work and cultures to see if he has an infection. His team talked it over and decided it would be best to postpone his surgery. We do not want to go into surgery with any chance of an existing infection. It is so weird because I am so nervous for this surgery, but once it got postpone I was upset. However, I am mentally prepared for these set backs. I am reading other people's blogs who have been in my shoes. It makes me realize the rollercoaster I have unwillingly got on. They have already started Beckett on antibiotics in case it is an infection. We are hoping there is no infection, Beckett has a quiet weekend, and Monday will be his surgery. Thank you everyone for all the love, support, and prayers! Keep them coming please! Tomorrow marks one week since we have been put on the transplant list. Each day is a day closer to the gift of life! Good night everyone!
Prayers continued!
