Best Muffin Basket Ever!

Beckett had a great night. When we saw him this morning, we were blown away. He looked so good! His coloring and alertness...my Beckett is back! In rounds this morning Beckett's team was so proud of him! They were happy to announce that he has reached every goal that have set so far. I was cheering and grinning from ear to ear! He has a pretty big amazing team. It consists of Doctors (ICU, Cardiologist, Transplant), Surgeons, PAs, NPs, respiratory, and nurses. So today's plan was to lower/get rid of the two medicines he has to be off of to extubate and start lowering the vent controls. He is off one of the two medicines! Tonight's plan is to wean off the second one and keep lowering the vent settings. I am so proud of you lil man and so proud to be your mommy!

Beckett had two very important visitors today! Auntie Alex and cousin Jordan! I was so excited to see them both! I send a HUGE THANK YOU to these people...
Not only did they help send my sister here, they sent her with 2 extra luggage pieces filled with gifts for Beckett and I. We are so blown away and thankful for thinking of us. We went out to lunch and then hung out with Becks for the rest of the day/night! We finally decorated Beckett's room and it looks sooo good! His room is filled with love from all over the United States! Here are some pics...

That Olaf has a guardian angel pin on him and Duffy has one of my Grandpa's medals on him. I feel so honored that Beckett got that! I actually had a "fun" day. Beckett looks good, part of my family is together and my sister made me laugh and brought me good Chicago snacks and treats! Alex is staying with Beckett tonight to watch over his continuing weaning and to let me try to have a good night sleep. Thanks Al! Tomorrow I'll see Joe, Papa, Mya, McKenna, and COCO!!!!!!

One more shout out to this amazing little girl. I hope Beckett grows up to have a heart like yours. She has given Beckett her allowance  and today she set up a lemonade stand! She is a sweetheart! I can't wait for Beckett to meet her! How cute is she?!?!

Praying for another great night as they continue to wean and for a successful extubation in the next couple of days. Each day is a day closer to me holding him and him receiving the gift of life! Thank you God and all of you for your prayers, positive thoughts, and good juju that you have sent our way. It is definitely helping us to stay strong!

Much Love,
Joe, Taylor, and Beckett
