We Can't Thank Y'all Enough!

On behalf of Beckett, Joe and I we wanted to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love, support and encouragement you all are providing us through this difficult time.  We are so deeply touched by all the comments and sharing of his blog. Please keep praying and thinking positive thoughts for the stability of Beckett and the arrival of a new heart.

Beckett had a tiring night last night. He does not like to be messed around with. Can you blame him? The night started with re taping his mouth with the vent. Then he had two code browns (blowouts) and had to be changed plus a dressing change. Then they realized his arterial line was not functioning so at about midnight they had to put a new one in. Every nurse and doctor comments on how strong (and adorable) he is!

Today, he got a good bath and bed change using his blankets from home. He is still stable and he now opens his eyes wide and looks around. I love seeing his eyes open, talking and reading to him, and giving him a million kisses. He has a CT scan later today. Hoping for a peaceful and restful night.
